Ethical Guidelines for Bio Research in Epidemics/Pandemics Workshop

The National Committee of Bioethics at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology held a virtual workshop entitled “Ethical Controls for Vital Research in Times of Pandemics and Epidemics” on Thursday, 11/18/1441 AH corresponding to 09/07/2020 AD, via ZOOM app.

In this workshop, a number of topics related to the ethics of vital research and in times of pandemics and epidemics were reviewed and discussed, namely:

Ethical controls for research in times of pandemics
Clinical studies in times of pandemics.
The hoped-for role of the National Center for Disease Prevention and Control in the governance of vital data and samples in times of pandemics
