The National Committee of Bioethics organizes the scientific meeting for the ethics of scientific communication

The meeting aims to develop a methodology and framework for improving scientific communication with the public and the media, define scientific and professional responsibilities for the dissemination of scientifically proven information, move away from unproven and controversial issues, and spread awareness and the results of correct scientific research, as well as the responsibility to disseminate divergent and unproven messages to society and the role of scientists, researchers, practitioners and the media towards scientific issues, where the participants provided examples of misconceptions circulating in media, the role of media in health education and scientific communication between experts, and the responsibility of media in selecting speakers on scientific issues.
The meeting was concluded by presenting the recommendations that were reached through discussing those themes, which will be the basis on which the regulations governing bioethics in this field will be built.
